The nose is characterized by a particular fruity and tropical aroma; notes of mango with hints of honey and spices. The flavor is mellow, where the sweetness and intensity of honey prevails. The taste is balanced, and offers hints of yellow fruit like mango and peach, enriched by notes of perfumed and buttery spices. Thanks to its balanced lactic acidity, the sensation that this coffee gives is enjoying a sweet treat. The body is medium and velvety. Its persistent aftertaste leaves traces of gingerbread that linger for some time on the palate.

Daye Bensa supports the local communities in Ethiopia through infrastructure projects and agricultural education, aiming at improving the coffee quality and the life conditions of the farmers. The Sidama coffee is hand picked, selected and processed using natural and sustainable methods. The Sidama region, now a regional State, is famous for its ideal climate and the high quality of the coffee cultivated here.
