The Sidama Boreta lot is located in the Arbegona district, in Ethiopia, and is processed by Daye Bensa,
owned by the Dukamo family, who has been building infrastructure since 1997, in order to sustain the local coffee farmers.
The processing is made in the Boreta wet mill, first hand selecting the cherries and then letting them dry on African beds. The area does not offer a lot of resources, thus the coffee is often organic, without any certification though. Daye Bensa leads social projects to improve roads, electricity and the agricultural education of the locals.
The Sidama region, now officially a State, is renowned for its climate, altitude and soils that are ideal for coffee growing.
